Over the years, CSSS has strived to overcome hurdles and impediments of women participation in economic development. From the very onset it has endeavored to engage and influence institutions, attitudes and activities to ensure development of women folk. Self Help Group is most certainly the core area of focus with respect to our activities and is reflected in the most of the activities of the organization. Micro savings through SHGs have culminated in the creation of a community pool. Togetherness and habit of saving not only saved an amount for the members but also entitled them for hassle-free loan at their doorsteps. We promote productive as well as consumption loan. The association with the SHGs also helps the SHG members in reaching out to the banks for institutional linkages.
